The scholarship is open to high-school seniors of African descent for the 2022 session. African Americans and Africans are eligible for this award. The scholarship is a company-sponsored employee network dedicated to supporting the continued growth and development of black employees at Microsoft Corporation. To be eligible for this award, applicants must meet certain conditions and they include;
How Do I Apply?
To apply for this program, print and fill out the application. Enclose it in an envelope with the following items.
#1. Two letters of recommendation.
One of the letters must be from a faculty or staff member of your school. The letters must be original and not a copy of college recommendation letters. (Letters must have letterhead)
#2. Resume. The Resume must carry the information below
#3. Two Essays
In not more than 500 words, describe how you plan to engage in the tech industry in your future career. (If you have done exemplary using technology, don’t be afraid to blow your trumpet) The second essay should be not more than 250 words and should show your financial need fr the scholarship.
