How Much Is The Gloria Barron Prize Worth?
The 25 winning students receive $10,000 for their education/projects, young hero education materials, networking opportunities, and media coverage. In short, this award gives you access to the resources needed to take your project/interests to a higher level.
Eligibility for Gloria Barron Prize 2022
The Barron Prize welcomes applications from young people in the public on our closing date on April 15:
Between 8 and 18 years old (not yet 19 years old)Resident residing in the United States or CanadaBe currently working on an inspiring service project or has done so in the last 12 monthswork as an individual to carry out their service work. The Barron Prize does not accept applications from large groups of young people.
The Barron Prize does not discriminate against candidates based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, creed, gender, sexual orientation or handicap.
Level/Field of Study
The Barron Prize honors 25 outstanding young leaders ages 8 to 18 each year, who have had a positive impact on individuals, their communities and the environment.
Host Nationality
The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes is taken and hosted in the USA.
Eligible Nationality
The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes is open to residents of the USA or Canada. Aside from the Gloria Barron Prize, there are other scholarships available to international students on our platform.
