National Rice Month Scholarship 2022
USA Rice Federation Is Composed of the USA Rice Producers’ Group, America Rice Millers’ Association, the United States Rice Council and also the USA Rice Merchants’ Association. The USA Rice Federation is a worldwide supporter of several sections of this U.S. rice market. The mission of this federation will be to market and safeguard the interests of manufacturers, millers and retailers, and emerging companies. September is national rice month in America, and to celebrate, the U.S.A. Rice Federation provides this annual award to high school seniors who create projects and presentations that demonstrate the importance and positive impact of rice agriculture in the United States. Upon selection, winning students will be required to provide proof of enrollment at an accredited college or university in the U.S.

Eligible Nationality
National Rice Month scholarship is opened to students who live in rice-growing states (Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas).
Scholarship Benefits
One national grand-prize winner will receive a National Rice scholarship award of $4,000, the second-place award of $3,000 and a third-place award of $1,500 will be presented.

Three National Rice Month scholarship awards are given annually.
Eligibility for National Rice Month scholarship
Children of board members of the USA Rice Federation, USA Rice Council, USA Rice Producers’ Group, USA Rice Millers’ Association, and USA Rice Merchants’ Association, and/or children of USA Rice Federation committee members, USA Rice Federation employees or Dow AgroSciences employees are not eligible.

To apply for the scholarship the candidates must submit the following documents either electronically to Amy Doane, adoane-at-usarice.com or at the address of the USA Rice Federation.
Create U.S.-grown rice at the center of a promotion task you run this September. Some sample topics/themes include:Nutritional great things about U.S.-grown riceCulinary versatility of U.S.-grown riceFiscal relevance of U.S. rice generation and processingConservation and ecological advantages of this U.S. rice industry. Your promotion has to be run in September.Publish your entrance (video, article, Scrap Book, or alternative demonstration application )Completed entry form
National Rice scholarship Application Deadline
