One of those scholarships is in the form of Pepsico Cesar Chavez Latino Scholarship. The PepsiCo Cesar Chavez Latino Scholarship Fund is awarding scholarships to students of Latino descent who are beginning or continuing their studies at a higher education institution. The fund provides financial assistance to qualified Latino/students in an effort to promote academic success. PepsiCo Cesar Chavez Latino Scholarship Recipients will be honored at the annual Si Se Puede Gala presented by the Cesar Chavez Foundation. Award recipients will be required to complete 30 hours of service to the Cesar Chavez Foundation within 12 months of award. The Education Fund has partnered with PepsiCo to offer the PepsiCo Cesar Chavez Latino Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund is available to all undergraduate students of Latino descent who are beginning or continuing their studies at higher educational institutions in Arizona and California. The program is designed to supplement the students’ financial resources from family, government, and other sources. The Fund supports 10 scholarships at $5,000 per student annually and will continue to do so until 2022. The Fund will provide $300,000 in scholarship awards to qualified students. The scholarship as it is for Latino students is also strict on the basis that you can only receive this scholarship once, after which you’re not qualified to apply again. Applicants should note that if one is already enrolled in a tertiary institution before the person starts applying he or she should make sure that he has not less than 3.0 cumulative GPA, and high school graduating students expected to maintain a good academic record and excellence so as to not lose this scholarship application on a platter of gold. Furthermore, applications are also examined based on the social contribution; how they’ve made difference in society; how often they will get themselves involved in voluntary services, their leadership qualities and things they do, and even in their relationship with people.

Applicant must be an incoming or continuing full-time undergraduate student at any educational institution for the 2018-2022 Academic Year. The applicant must be of Latino descent. The applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The applicant must be attending a college in Arizona or California. The scholarship is available in Arizona and California. The Actuarial Foundation awards three annual scholarships to minority students who will attend an accredited educational institution on a full-time basis. Awards range from $1,000 to $4,000, depending on your year in high school. To apply, students must have a GPA of at least 3.0 and intend to pursue an undergraduate degree that will lead to an actuarial profession. When to apply : Application period begins November 1. Deadlines vary by scholarship. The Hispanic Scholarship Fund offers a number of scholarships every year. The ALPFA scholarship is for students of Hispanic heritage pursuing business and finance-related degrees in fields such as business administration, accounting, economics, information technology, finance, management or marketing. Awards range from $2,000 to $10,000. How to qualify : Applicants must be entering their sophomore, junior or senior year full time at a four-year college or university or be pursuing a master’s degree. Recipients of this scholarship receive a $1,500 award, and must commit to attend the CLF Leadership Institute for two designated weekends and volunteer 10 hours for the foundation.
