Saint Leo University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the associate, bachelor’s, master’s, specialist, and doctoral degrees. The Saint Leo University School of Business received initial accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP) in November 2014. Eligible Academic Program
A recipient of federal financial aid must have regular or conditional admission to an academic program that has been approved by the US Department of Education to qualify for federal aid. All Saint Leo University study programs are eligible. Non-degree programs are not eligible for financial assistance. Saint Leo University understands that the financial aid process can still be difficult. That’s why your Saint Leo Financial Aid Advisor will work with you personally to help you navigate the process. Contact Student Financial Services for more information. Yes, you can earn a variety of bachelor’s degrees online. While enrolled in an online program at an accredited college or university, the bachelor’s degree you will earn online would be no different than the equivalent degree that is earned through an on-campus program. Online degree programs and courses are absolutely accredited so long as they are offered by an accredited institution. Saint Leo University, for example, is a regionally accredited university, and this standard applies to both its traditional and online degree programs in the same way. Yes, you can get financial aid for an online degree. If you are enrolled in a distance or online program at a traditional, regionally accredited institution, you will be eligible for federal and state financial aid assistance. This includes all Federal Title IV programs like the Federal Pell Grant, the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), and the Federal Stafford Loan Program, among others. The only difference between an online degree and a traditional degree is that the online courses are completed remotely. The traditional degree is completed on campus. Upon graduation, our online students hold the same degree as our campus or traditional degree program students.
