About The Wing
The Wing, founded in October 2016 by Audrey Gelman and Lauren Kassan is a women-focused, co-working space and club. They operate through their offices in New York City, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Boston. As of July 2019, the club has grown to a membership strength of about 10,000 members. The company employs about 300 people at its various locations. In August 2018, The Wing announced that it would convert the majority of its hourly workers to full-time employees with benefits. This means that the remaining part-time employees enjoy medical benefits, stock options, and increased wages to at least $16.50 per hour. The Wing also provides a platform for elected officials at the local, state, and national levels to connect with members and discuss key political issues. During election cycles, they host community town hall meetings and happy hours in support of women candidates on the campaign trail. About The Wing Scholarship Program
The Wing Scholarship Program focuses on individuals who work in industries that have little or no presentation. The Scholarship also aims to award those whose work supports the advancement of marginalized women and girls involved in fields of teaching, non-profit, social services, and advocacy. During the two years of the Scholarship Program, recipients will have full access to the membership club, community, programming, and opportunities that The Wing offers. Furthermore, scholarship recipients are encouraged and empowered to grow their network at The Wing to better amplify their work and impact the women and girls they serve.
Who Can Apply For The Wing Scholarship Program?
To be eligible for the scholarship, The applicants must meet the following requirements
Host Nationality
The Wing scholarship program is hosted and provided by The Wing in New York City, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Boston.
Eligible Level /Field Study
The Wing scholarship is available for women in the fields of teaching, non-profit, social services, and advocacy. Therefore, if you are passionate about teaching social services, this opportunity is for you. There are also Master of Teaching Scholarships in Mathematics and Physics in Australia.
Eligible Nationality
This Jordan Wing scholarship is for women who are residents of one of the five boroughs of New York. There are other opportunities for both genders like scholarships for international students.

How to Apply for The Wing Scholarship Program
